The Producer of Crisis on Infinite Earths Hopes for More from DC…

Return of The Cybernetic Batman

Terry McGinnis is back in the animated film “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths.” Excited? You should be. Don’t know Terry? He’s Batman Beyond, the futuristic hero from the “Batman Beyond” series (1999-2001). Terry also starred in the 2000 film “Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker” and more, voiced by Will Friedle.

The Animated Sequel We’ve Been Waiting For

Executive producer Butch Lukic revealed in an exclusive with ComingSoon that Terry’s return might spark new opportunities. According to Lukic, this could lead to a Batman Beyond movie or rebooted series. He shared, “We were going to bring back Batman Beyond because there’s always been talk of wanting to do a Batman Beyond animated film or revise the series… So I figured this will help hopefully, and we get Will [Friedle] back in to do the voice.” Nostalgic yet?

Bat-Fans Deprived

Lukic’s regret? Not having Batman Beyond on screen more often. “There were so many other characters involved,” he said. “But yeah, it was nice to finally get Batman Beyond animated back on screen.”
