Marvel’s New Glimpse of Spider-Man’s Look

Spider-Man Gains Vibranium Suit to Fight Vampirism

By August Tales

The web of Miles Morales, better known as Spider-Man, tangled with a new nemesis. This time, it wasn’t a garden-variety baddie. No, he was bitten by Blade, a vampire hunter under the influence of Varnae, the original vampire (in “Blood Hunt,” Marvel’s latest from Jed MacKay and Pepe Larraz). His trusty sidekick, Bloodline, who is Blade’s offspring, helped him overtake the big bad. Yet, victory hosted an unwanted guest for Miles: bloodlust.

Thirsty Spider, Quenching Panther

After the showdown, Blade’s fangs had left more than temporary marks on Spider-Man. Recent issues of Miles Morales: Spider-Man revealed his fight with a lingering, insatiable thirst for blood. His internal venom-energy combatted some vampiric yearnings, a silver lining in a troubling situation.

Misty Knight and Dr. Keisha Kwan, Miles’s mentors, called upon T’Challa, the illustrious Black Panther. T’Challa arrived with a Wakandan toolkit for the vampire-infected Spider-Man. His solution was a sharp new armor, an upgrade to Spider-Man’s sartorial arsenal: the Vibranium Spider-Man suit.

The suit will make its first appearance in the pages of Miles Morales: Spider-Man #25, set to release in October.

Artist Spotlight and Future Adventures

Marvel unveiled upcoming suit designs by Federico Vicentini, the fantastic artist behind Miles Morales: Spider-Man. In true Marvel fashion, these sneak peeks came in the form of variant covers. They’re slated to reach your local comic book store on October 16th.

Journals of a Vampire Spider-Man

Famed comic writer Cody Zigler offered teases of his continuing narrative on Miles Morales. A trip to Wakanda, a homecoming in Brooklyn, and a high-stakes rematch with Vulture are all on Zigler’s menu. It’s all exciting news for Spider-Man enthusiasts, but equally alarming, considering Miles’ current conflict with newfound vampire tendencies.

So, Spider-Man fans, mark your calendars. Keep your eyes on the streets of Brooklyn and the dark corners of Wakanda. It’s about to get interesting.
