Iconic game developers Mega Cat Studios and Video Game Sage have presented gamers with a captivating new Sega Genesis and Mega Drive game: Rocket Panda. It’s now available for purchase at Mega Cat Studios’ online store.

Rocket-Powered Panda to the Rescue

To liberate his friends from the grasp of the vicious Biscuit Head and his army of foes. Brave 60 winding stages, each filled with an abundance of delectable treats to accumulate.

A World of Sweets and High Stakes

Rocket Panda presents gamers with seven expansive sweets-centric worlds to traverse. Expect colossal boss fights on this journey. Three cartridge variants of the Rocket Panda game are ready for purchase at the Mega Cat Studios store. Choose between the Standard Blue and Red Label, the Limited Edition Panda, or the Limited Edition VGS Collab cartridges.

Players will bulldoze through hordes of menacing counterforces under Biscuit Head’s control, from Flying Pigs and Mines to Toasters, Tanks, and UFOs. Collect biscuits for high scores, exploit tea for power dash moves, and vanquish mighty bosses including a gargantuan Teacup, Dragon, Mega Toast, and Cheese Ball. Territories playable in Rocket Panda include Biscuit City, Ice Cream Archipelago, Chocolate Mountains, and Candy Catacombs.

Triumphant Partnerships and Celebrations

Dan Lavoie of Mega Cat Studios voiced his excitement for the game and the Space Pants Games partnership when Rocket Panda kicked off its Kickstarter. “We’re thrilled to partner with Space Pants Games to bring Rocket Panda to life,” he expressed. “With its engaging characters, dynamic worlds and addictive play, Rocket Panda will be the next Genesis and Mega Drive addition that collectors will crave.”

Meanwhile, Sega reignited love for the monumental mecha-anime series, Evangelion, on its 30th anniversary. They released a new version of the Rei Ayanami statue based on a similar portrayal unveiled in 2022. The statue represents Rei leaning playfully on a rock, portrayed in a black plugsuit. This version pays homage to Rei’s appearance in the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series – a splendid remake of the anime’s original storyline.

Rocket Panda, now featured for Sega Genesis and Mega Drive, is accessible at Mega Cat Studio’s online store ready to provide gamers with an outstanding gaming experience. Make sure to watch for further expansive adventures on Mega Cat Studios’ horizon.
