Rumor: Age of Ultron’s Friday in Vision Series

The superhero universe is buzzing again. This time with a rumor about an upcoming Vision TV series, coined “Vision Quest.” The rumor mill claims, audaciously, that Tony Stark’s AI assistant Friday, who first surfaced in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” could make a surprise appearance in the series. Just so as we’re clear, Marvel Studios hasn’t uttered a word about this yet.

Back in October 2022, the series was greenlit following “WandaVision.” Unsurprisingly, Paul Bettany is set to return as either the White Vision or the real Vision.

A Human Friday for Vision Quest?

An online post by My Time To Shine Hello – a Hollywood scooper – ignited a wildfire of curiosity recently. He declared that Friday, Iron Man’s AI replacement, is winging its way back to our screens in the Vision TV series.

Here’s what’s buzzing: Will Friday abandon its AI roots and come back as a human? In his post, My Time To Shine Hello, made another interesting claim – Kerry Condon might be reprising her role as F.R.I.D.A.Y., but this time in a human avatar for the “Vision Quest show”. He further added that, “James D’Arcy will also reprise his role as Jarvis for the show.”

Certainly, these tidbits have stirred the pot of excited discussions across the internet. By the way, there is no official validation for these claims yet.

A Stellar Cast and Crew

It has earlier been confirmed that actor James Spader, critical to “Avengers: Age of Ultron” as Ultron, is set to return. But that’s not the end of the story. Terry Matalas, who wielded the helms on the Star Trek series, Picard, is all set to drive this new vision series.

“Vision Quest” shadows the narrative line of the White Vision. Created by S.W.O.R.D, this one’s mission was to snuff out Wanda. But, gets his wires crossed, recall Vision’s memories, and takes flight instead.

Now we wait, with bated breath, to see if the rumor, indeed, rings true and the AI turns human. Only the screen will tell.
