Dragon Ball Daima: Episode 15

Daima Picks Up the Pace with Action-Packed Episode

Dragon Ball Daima has finally regained its momentum after a slow week. Fans of the franchise can now relish an episode brimming with classic action. Although not quite the intensity of Dragon Ball Z or Super, the episode delivers in nostalgic style. Goku and his comrades are locked in battle, aiming to storm King Gomah’s stronghold.

This episode might not feature the most memorable fights, yet it still holds its own. However, some moments may stir debate among the fan base. Meanwhile, an intriguing lore twist emerges, leaving viewers intrigued. As King Gomah launches his forces at our heroes, he senses the presence of a coveted object—the Third Eye.

A Treasure with a Troubled Past

The Third Eye is no ordinary relic. Once in the possession of Supreme Demon Kings, it empowered them with fearsome magic. Dabura, in his ambitious quest, tried to steal it from his father. Yet, the coveted artifact vanished during the heist. Without it, Dabura couldn’t withstand Majin Buu’s might and became a mere morsel for the villain.

This revelation also uncovers the true identity of King Gomah. Previously Dabura’s Vice-Supreme Demon King, Gomah’s rise was more about opportunity than conquest. Dabura’s demise left the position open, but that doesn’t ease Gomah’s anxiety. From his perspective, the Demon Realm is a lawless land, prompting his paranoia about rising threats.

In a twist of fate, Hybis, an unwitting hero, is the current bearer of the Third Eye. He stumbled upon it, unaware of its immense power, treating it as a mere belt accessory. What happens next borders on the hilarious. King Gomah sends Degesu to retrieve it through deception. Degesu dons a female guise, offering a kiss for the eye. In an unexpected turn, Hybis rejects the approach, instead trading the eye for Degesu’s comical hat.

Unexpected Twists in the Battle

The ensuing battle scene showcases Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo facing off against soldiers armed with laser guns. It might sound underwhelming on paper, especially for the seasoned warriors. Yet, there’s a peculiar charm to this dynamic. Vegeta, boasting his Saiyan pride, ends up outwitted by the simple ray guns.

This episode offers a blend of amusement and world-building. Previous episodes introduced giants, adding texture to the realm. However, some fans might question the portrayal of the main characters’ strength. Their teamwork with King Kadan’s crew provides an enjoyable edge. Nevertheless, some might still find fault with the portrayal.

Despite these critiques, the episode serves as a reminder of the franchise’s fluid power scale. As the series nears its finale, fans hope for an escalation, ensuring a fittingly explosive conclusion.

For those eager to watch the action unfold, "Dragon Ball Daima" is streaming on Crunchyroll. Don’t miss out on Goku and friends’ latest adventures as they navigate the challenges of King Gomah’s domain.
