‘Agatha All Along’ Creator Discusses If…

Schaeffer Addresses Mephisto Theories in Agatha All Along

By August Tales

“Agatha All Along” can’t seem to quell the swirling speculation surrounding the series. Despite the series’ third episode making a direct reference to the character, rumors of Mephisto’s imminent reveal persist. According to some, the extraterrestrial devil might soon make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Finally tackling this fiery topic, the show’s showrunner, Jac Schaeffer, speaks out.

Mephisto’s Possible MCU Debut through Agatha All Along

Schaeffer recently prodvided her views on the potential appearance of the demonic ruler in the hit series starring Kathryn Hahn. During an exchange with ‘The Wrap’, the creator of “Agatha All Along” was probed about Mephisto’s significant name-drop in the third installment. Remarkably, Schaeffer confessed she had no prior knowledge of the character when “WandaVision” premiered. However, she now understands the link between Mephisto’s saga and Agatha’s tale.

Teasing Mephisto’s Presence without Confirmation

Schaeffer shared her surprise at the frenzy the Mephisto subplot caused during “WandaVision.” “It was a shock that the Mephisto piece took off. Yes, this scene in Episode 3 was a turning point,” said Schaeffer, addressing the demonic villain’s connection to the series.

Yet, when queried about his direct involvement, she skillfully dodged giving an outright answer. “I can neither confirm or nor deny,” Schaeffer responded. “The scene in question, between Jen and Teen, is really about navigating the rumors about Agatha,” she added.

Mysterious “Pyro-Man” Theory Dismissed

Despite remaining vague about Mephisto’s involvement, Schaeffer did comment on a theory concerning a puzzling ‘pyro-man’ from the series’ first episode. “I would call that an overreach,” she declared, dismissing the theory.

While Schaeffer continues to remain elusive regarding Mephisto’s cameo, many believe the villain will make an MCU entrance. However, solid evidence supporting when this may occur remains elusive.

“Agatha All Along” released its fourth episode on Wednesday, October 2. It is progressing, fans remain engulfed in theories and expectations, eagerly awaiting what the series will reveal next.
