Featured too will be season two of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches from the Immortal Universe. HIDIVE’s DanMachi—Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? has a slot. A Shudder panel highlighting superior horror content also graces the program.

Comic Con attendees get an exclusive sneak-peek at scenes and teasers. The reveals include the Book of Carol, its premiere set for September 29 on AMC and AMC+. The keenly awaited second season of Dead City is also on tap for previews, with the season set to air next year. Upcoming Shudder films and series are on this preview list as well.

Furthermore, attendees will get a taste of the season two premiere of Mayfair Witches and the World Dub premiere of DanMachi season five. Both are slated to return early 2025.

The AMC Lineup

A highlight of AMC’s Comic Con schedule is Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches panel. This takes center stage on Thursday, October 17. Audience members will watch a screening of the premiere episode of season two. This happens before the series returns next year on AMC and AMC+.

Continuing from season one, the panel promises a gripping display. Rowan Mayfair, played by Alexandra Daddario, births a demon, Lasher. The new season sees Rowan journey to understanding and accepting what Lasher has become: human or monster? When crisis looms, Rowan has to side-step her desires and defends her family.

Following the screening, a discussion facilitated by Mark Johnson, Esta Spalding, and cast members will preview the upcoming season.

The Walking Dead: Dead City Panel

Slotted for Friday, October 18 is The Walking Dead: Dead City panel. Fan favorites Maggie and Negan feature as they navigate post-apocalyptic Manhattan. The fallen city is ridden with the dead and inhabitants who live in anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.

Season two shows Maggie and Negan amidst a growing war, finding themselves caught on different sides. The series panel will offer a glimpse at the upcoming season. Panel members include Scott M. Gimple, Eli Jorné, Lauren Cohan, Gaius Charles, and Dascha Polanco.

The Book of Carol Panel

Friday also brings The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol panel. The new season follows Carol as she struggles against old demons while Daryl grapples with his decision to stay in France. This sparks tension at the Nest. Genet’s movement gathers momentum, leading Pouvoir into a forceful clash with the Union of Hope.

The panel features David Zabel, Greg Nicotero, Dan Percival, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.

Scare Tactics by SHUDDER

Friday concludes with a Shudder sketch. Sam Zimmerman leads a conversation on what scares us most, followed by a look back at Shudder’s popular titles this year.

World Reviews by HIDIVE

Featuring on Saturday, October 19 is HIDIVE Presents: DanMachi. The fantasy action series returns for its fifth season premiered at NYCC with an English dub screening. The panel includes Bryson Baugus, Juliette Simmons, and Kyle Colby Jones, affiliated with the dub production.
