Holiday Havoc: Comic Characters Enter the Festive Arena

It’s that time of the week when creativity collides with art. Our talented community unleashes visual wonders based on your suggestions. This isn’t just any artistic gathering, though. This is Line It Is Drawn, where comic characters get a holiday twist.

Get Involved, Get Creative

Each week is a chance to join the creative fiesta. On the CSBG Twitter page, fans chime in with their whimsical ideas. Our artists then bring these ideas to life, sketching dazzling renditions of your wild imaginations. To jump in, follow @CSBG on Twitter and answer the weekly challenge before midnight Friday, Pacific Time.

This week’s challenge beckons with a twinkle in its eye and a festive spirit. What’s better than Emma Frost sparring with Frosty the Snowman or Santa teaming up with the Son of Satan? Got an idea for Doc Ock and Aunt May under the mistletoe? The possibilities are endless!

Saluting the Creative Spark

A heartfelt shout-out goes to Big Mike, a longtime creative voice in the Line It Is Drawn community. Currently battling health issues, Mike’s contributions inspire a special holiday-themed challenge: mash-ups featuring Squirrel Girl.

The result? A feast for the eyes with illustrations that range from the zany to the epic. The order of drawings follows the alphabetical lineup of suggestion contributors. Jump into this sea of artistry, where different strokes represent distinct voices in the comic world.

Squirrel Girl and Friends Unite!

First up, Squirrel Girl joins forces with Gwenpool, Miraculous Ladybug, Melissa Tarleton (MODOK), and Violet Parr. This vibrant creation is drawn by Axel Medellin, showcasing his flair on DeviantArt.

Next, we see Elmer Fudd reimagined by artist Rod Allen. Rod’s Instagram account, Hotroddi, provides a glimpse into his creative universe.

Beyond the Unconventional Characters

©Sonic fans, rejoice! Sally Acorn teams up with the beloved speedy hedgehog. This piece comes courtesy of the talented Daniel Middleton, a creator featured on Webtoons. Find more of his work in the Valor Family Tree.

Adding to the mix, charming B’Dog steps into the limelight. Eric Lee captures this character through his distinct perspective. For more of Eric’s artful endeavors, visit his Linktree and Instagram.

Wrap-Up and Looking Ahead

With every sketch, the artistic genius of our community shines brighter. Here’s hoping Big Mike gets well soon. In the meantime, conjure your best holiday-themed mash-ups for next week’s creative escapade!

Feel the inspiration surge? Head over to the CSBG Twitter page, submit your ideas, and watch as magic unfolds through art.
