By August Tales
Lionsgate dropped the grand finale – a fresh, exhilarating trailer for “The Killer’s Game”. The date is set. Mark September 13th for the movie’s release. Surprisingly, four vivid images and twelve striking character posters also came along for the ride.
The trailer packs a punch. It brings a wild blend of graphic gore, unabashed violence, and comedic lunacy. Sounds like something you can’t afford to miss? We think so too.
Action Comedy in the Making – The Killer’s Game
In the movie, Dave Bautista brings the character of a hitman to life. Here’s the twist – he’s diagnosed with a terminal disease. So, what does he do? He hires a hit on himself. Yes, you heard that right. He goes after himself. And who joins him for this wild, chaotic ride? The gallery dazzles with Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Pom Klementieff, and none other than Sir Ben Kingsley.
The premise of this action-comedy may sound like a simple sequence of events. But it’s the execution that will decide its fate. With a promising cast in place, this could turn out to be a decent blend of thrill and fun. It’s what Lionsgate needs – a triumph, even if it doesn’t break box office records.
The latest trailer gives you a glimpse of the gory violence. Expect to be fun-lovingly disturbed. And, it’s not just about the trailer. They’ve also given us some stunning new images.
The Plot Thickens
In “The Killer’s Game”, Joe Flood (played by Dave Bautista), a top-notch hitman, discovers he has a terminal illness. He then takes an unpredictable step – setting a hit out on himself. As luck would have it, the hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend (Sofia Boutella). The race is on. He has to outsmart an army of professional killers and win his love back before it’s all too late.
Under the big banner of Lionsgate, Mad Chance & Endurance Media, in partnership with Dogbone Entertainment, K. Jam Media, and Lipsync, bring you “The Killer’s Game”. JJ Perry, the directorial genius, has quite a star-studded team – Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Pom Klementieff, and Ben Kingsley.
It lands in theaters, with a grand thump, on September 13. Save the date and don’t forget to share the excitement with your friends on social media.
