With Bonham-Carter’s absence, Monica Bellucci fits snugly into Beetlejuice’s wife role, a fresh field for Burton to play.

The Ortega-Depp Entanglement

Forget mere casting rumors; Depp’s soap opera also includes whispers of a romance with young co-star Ortega. When confronted in a Buzzfeed interview, Ortega shot these down with a simple, “I don’t know that person,” about Depp.
