During the star-studded premiere of the show’s spinoff, Suits LA, in sunny California on February 20, Aaron Korsh, the series creator, weighed in on whether the Duchess of Sussex might make a cameo.

Markle’s Welcome Invitation

Korsh was quick to affirm that Markle is always welcome back on the set. "Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back," Korsh stated. Yet, integrating her into the new series presents a creative challenge.

Korsh explained their dilemma. "We’ve thought about Meghan or other cast members playing themselves as actors," he said. "It’s complex; my brain explodes at the thought." Nonetheless, the challenge remains part of the excitement.

Bringing Rachel Zane into Suits LA could disrupt the show’s universe. "I think it blows up the world too much," Korsh mused. Markle’s presence would electrify fans but might divert the show’s narrative focus.

When asked if Markle truly holds an open invitation, Korsh couldn’t be clearer. "Of course. Of course. Always," he reiterated. But breaching the fourth wall seems daunting for the show’s current course.

Suits LA is set to debut on February 23, expanding the Suits world with new stories and characters. This fresh chapter emerges after Suits found a new audience on Netflix. The beloved Rachel Zane, played by Markle, debuted in Suits’ first season.
