Season 7 of My Hero Academia to Feature Lady Nagant
Written By: August Tales
Season 7 of My Hero Academia will turn heads thanks to the return of Lady Nagant. The anime is currently locked in a fierce phase of combat between the villainous and the virtuous. Expect Season 7 to blast off with Lady Nagant in the center of all the action.
The villains always manage to pull a trick out of their hat. Every time heroes like Izuku Midoriya gain some ground, the villains outmaneuver them by becoming stronger or more unpredictable.
The heroes’ ranks thin as more suffer injuries or face fatal blows. The villains are ramping up the intensity, making things worse for the heroes. All For One is regaining his strength and youth, Tomura Shigaraki is learning to command All For One’s powers, and copies of Himiko Toga’s Twice are swarming. Lady Nagant’s reappearance in anime, however, promises to rock the hero society immensely.
My Hero Academia: The Return of Lady Nagant
In Episode 16 of My Hero Academia Season 7, the stakes are raised as some erstwhile villains switch sides. A major turning point occurs when La Brava and Gentle Criminal resurface in anime to assist the heroes at a crucial moment. They not only regain control of the floating U.A. Academy battlefield, but also manage to cushion its fall.
Recent arcs of My Hero Academia have radically transformed the hero society. We’ve seen the grim underbelly of hero operations and discovered villains aren’t as evil as once thought. They’re often outcasts or rule-breakers of an unforgiving society.
Why Lady Nagant’s Return is Crucial
Here’s why Lady Nagant’s comeback is pivotal to My Hero Academia’s future. Introduced in Season 6, she was an escapee from Tartarus, tapped by All For One to eliminate a young hero. After gaining an extra quirk from him, she also ended up with an implanted explosive that would detonate if she defied him. Bomb blast notwithstanding, she is back and able to use her quirk.
When Shigaraki mishandled his Decay quirk, Nagant saved the day by shooting a round that removed his arm before it hit the ground. Her intervention, alongside two villains turned good, underlines the possibility of redemption for previously shunned villains.
My Hero Academia: What Next for Hero Society?
The hero society of My Hero Academia is hardly merciful. Commit a few major crimes, and you’re tagged a villain, as depicted in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. The label haunts these individuals, often overshadowing any opportunities for rehabilitation. This war has, however, given villains a face, a humanistic touch as Tsukauchi remarked in the episode.
With Lady Nagant, a former villain, stepping up for the heroes, the current trend suggests a positive shift. It seems hero society in My Hero Academia is on the cusp of an irrevocable change.
