Kelly Clarkson Returns to Host NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center
The holidays are approaching, and with them comes NBC’s annual spectacle, Christmas in Rockefeller Center. Kelly Clarkson announced on her daytime show that she’s again hosting this year’s festivities. The live broadcast will air on December 4th from 8-10 pm ET. You can catch it on NBC, as well as streaming live on Peacock.
A Season of Star-studded Joy
As the holiday season kicks off, anticipation builds for the event. Details about who will join Clarkson are kept under wraps for now. However, last year set the bar high. Clarkson was joined by TODAY anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker, and Craig Melvin. There were also unforgettable performances by Chloe Bailey, Cher, and Seth MacFarlane, among others. Everyone came together to light up the holidays, quite literally.
Stars Light Up the Holidays
Last year, duets thrilled audiences. Blackstone & Palmer, and Foster & McPhee stirred hearts. Cher brought magic, performing a solo set and a special duet with Darlene Love. And, naturally, the Radio City Rockettes dazzled the crowd. The entire event revolved around one transformative moment: the grand lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.
Behind the Scenes Magic
This year’s magic promises no less. Produced by the award-winning Brad Lachman Productions, the event remains a cherished tradition. Executive producers Brad Lachman and Bill Bracken, alongside director Glenn Weiss, aim to deliver another unforgettable evening.
Can’t wait to see it unfold? Mark your calendars for a night of music, joy, and holiday spirit. Be prepared for an illuminating experience that celebrates the best of the season. Because in New York City, nothing says Christmas quite like the Rockefeller Center tree lighting.
