“Minnie Driver Voices Oswalda in Batman Show”
A Penguin by Any Other Name: Oswalda is Coming to Gotham
Saving Gotham from evil-doers may prove a tad more complicated. Why? Minnie Driver, the widely-respected actress whose performance in flicks like Good Will Hunting and Grosse Pointe Blank are still the talk of the town, has slipped into a new role. Yes, genial folks, Driver is breathing life into Oswalda, a unique female twist to Batman’s arch-nemesis, the Penguin, in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, Batman: Caped Crusader.
Speaking at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Driver expressed her enthusiasm about her villainous alter ego. In a spark of wit, she described her character as "joyful" and "dreadful" in the same breath. As they say, villains have more fun.

Bonilla, Krystal Joy Brown, John DiMaggio, Paul Scheer, Reid Scott, Tom Kenny, Jason Watkins, Gary Anthony Williams, Dan Donohue, David Krumholtz, Haley Joel Osment, and Toby Stephens.
Abetting the Bat: A Production Dream Team
Created by a who’s who of executive producers, including Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, Ed Brubaker, James Tucker, Daniel Pipski, Rachel Rusch Rich, and Sam Register, Batman: Caped Crusader has an impressive lineage to uphold. Initially developed as a Max series, the production shifted gears to Amazon MGM Studios, receiving a two-season vote of confidence before its premiere.
