It’s race week in Indianapolis, and the tension off the track is even hotter than the action on it. Local Grendel chief Hack is trying to keep control as rival clans flood the city, a vigilante begins hunting Grendels, and enemies within his own ranks move to overthrow him. But when he falls for Dana, a determined hospital physician, Hack finds his carefully balanced world spinning out of control.
Dana has her own struggles, especially with her troubled son, who teeters on the edge of falling into the violent Grendel world she is drawn toward. Caught between loyalty, survival, and forbidden attraction, both Hack and Dana face choices that could change everything.
